Dragon Shield Announces New Licensing Agreement with Hasbro and Wizards of the Coast to Produce Official MAGIC: THE GATHERING Gaming Accessories
Dragon Shield, a global leader in premium trading card game accessories, is excited to announce a new collaboration with Hasbro and its Wizards of the Coast division to produce licensed trading card game (TCG) accessories for MAGIC: THE GATHERING, focusing on classic/evergreen, iconic imagery from the world’s most popular trading card game.

The first products under the collaboration will debut in two distinct series that honor MAGIC’s enduring legacy:
- The Legendary Series will feature some of the most iconic legendary creatures from MAGIC: THE GATHERING’s history. Appropriately, the first Legendary Series sleeves will feature The Ur-Dragon as Dual Matte Art sleeves – a fan-favorite that embodies the timeless power and imagination the series seeks to honor.
- The Landfall Series draws inspiration from the landscapes that form the foundation of MAGIC: THE GATHERING. To launch the series, Dragon Shield will release a series of five Dual Matte Art sleeves featuring the five Tarkir: Dragonstorm fetch lands in their showcase forms, celebrating both the artistry and the gameplay significance that lands bring to MAGIC.
The first licensed MAGIC: THE GATHERING× Dragon Shield products will debut at MagicCon: Atlanta, with retail availability planned worldwide in late 2025. The MagicCon Atlanta event will also feature an exclusive “Dracogenesis” sleeve. Selected from this year’s earlier Tarkir Dragonstorm set, the artwork was chosen to symbolize the launch of this collaboration.
