Card Sleeves

1. Start with the right size
Choose a sleeve size that fits your cards. Standard Size sleeves fit trading cards up to 63 × 88 mm (2½ × 3½ in) and are made for games like Magic: The Gathering, Pokémon, Riftbound, Flesh and Blood, and many other western TCGs.

For smaller cards, Japanese Size sleeves fit cards up to 59 × 86 mm (2⅓ × 3⅜ in) and are ideal for games like Yu-Gi-Oh!

2. Find your shuffle feel
Next, choose the texture that feels right in your hands. Different sleeve textures offer different shuffle experiences, so whether you prefer a buttery smooth shuffle or something a little more firm, there’s a texture for you.

3. Make the deck yours
Now for the fun part. Pick a color or artwork that complements your deck so you can bring your deck's theme to life. With a huge range of colors and artworks to explore, you can find a sleeve that feels made for your deck.

The right sleeve size depends on the cards you play with. For Magic: The Gathering, Pokémon, Riftbound, Flesh and Blood, and most other Western TCGs, choose Standard Size sleeves, designed for cards measuring up to 63 × 88 mm (2½ × 3½ in).

Playing Yu-Gi-Oh! or another game with smaller cards? Japanese Size sleeves are designed for cards measuring up to 59 × 86 mm (2⅓ × 3⅜ in).

Yes you can! You can double-sleeve with Dragon Shields in two different ways:

• Inner Sleeves – Inner sleeves fit tightly around your cards. Place your card in an inner-sleeve first, then place the card in a ‘normal’ sleeve.
• Outer Sleeves – Outer sleeves fit over sleeved cards.

You can also triple-sleeve by double-sleeving with Inner Sleeves and then using Outer Sleeves.

Yes you can triple-sleeve with Dragon Shield sleeves. You can triple-sleeve standard size cards and Japanese size cards!

First, use Inner Sleeves which fit tightly around your card. Then double-sleeve with a ‘normal’ sleeve. Afterwards you can use an Outer Sleeve to complete the triple sleeving.

Yes! All Dragon Shield sleeves are archival safe and PVC/acid free!

Most Dragon Shield sleeves are tournament legal.

Sleeve opacity is important when ensuring tournament legality, being able to see card backs through the sleeve can lead to disqualification from tournaments.

Matte-Dual sleeves are always 100% opaque, meaning you can’t see through the sleeve back, these are a great pick if you are playing in a competitive setting. 

In a Standard size pack of sleeves you’ll find 100 sleeves.

In a Japanese size pack of sleeves you’ll find 60 sleeves.
